A brazen thug on a quad mows down the manhunt launched by the PCSO


Police have released shocking footage of a PCSO being run over by a guy on a quad, leaving the officer injured in the knee.

West Midlands Police have shared the body camera clip of officers after the incident in Handsworth, Birmingham at around 5pm on June 10.

The biker is wanted by police who have appealed for him, according to Birmingham Live.

The force said the Suzuki Quad Racer 450 was “pretty distinctive”.

Police urged the public to come forward if they knew the cyclist or where the bike was stored.

The incident happened on Ivy Road in Handsworth, Birmingham

West Midlands Police posted: “#CALL | Can you help us find this passenger?

“A quad was taken to a PCSO, injuring its knee, on Ivy Road, #Handsworth at around 5pm on 10th June.

“If you know the rider or where the bike is stored, contact us quoting 20/458679/22.”

The clip has been shared on social media platforms including Twitter and Facebook as locals call for the guy to be found.

One Facebook user wrote: “Disgusting behavior. I hope the person is arrested and jailed. I hope the PCSO recovers from his injury soon.”

Another said: “Someone knows it, report it.”

But one Twitter user pointed out that he “would probably be easier to identify if he didn’t have something covering his whole face”.

West Midlands Police have been contacted by the TUSEN for an update on the manhunt.
