Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV) has partnered with Shriram Automall to create a platform for customers to trade in their pre-owned commercial vehicle of any brand for new or used BharatBenz vehicles.

Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV), the maker of BharatBenz trucks and buses, has announced a partnership with Shriram Automall India Limited (SAMIL) to launch a used commercial vehicle trade-in program. The company says the main goal of the collaboration was to create a platform for customers to trade in their used commercial vehicle of any brand for new or used BharatBenz vehicles. SAMIL is a popular marketplace for connecting used vehicle buyers and sellers, making it the go-to platform for many logistics companies to purchase certified commercial vehicles.

Rajaram Krishnamurthy, Vice President, Marketing and Sales, Customer Service, Daimler India Commercial Vehicles, said: “Our partnership with Sriram Automall, a leader in the trade area, will make it easier for customers to access used BharatBenz vehicles. . This -up link will be an effective tool and considerable added value in providing reliable and efficient first-class logistics solutions that meet customer needs. “
Daimler says the platform will support commercial vehicle customers, who trade in their used vehicles, with shorter turnaround times, better resale value and hassle-free processes. Those wishing to purchase a used commercial vehicle will have access to a fleet of second-hand trucks subject to extensive quality checks, made available through its national network of dealers. The exchange program will be active across India.

The dedicated “Exchange” team of DICV dealers will now be able to use the SAMIL platform to sell used vehicles from customers, both BharatBenz and other OEMs. Daimler says the new collaboration will also help dealers extend their service reach by increasing conversions and enabling improved coverage in the dealership’s order area.
