Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Ramiz Raja took to Twitter on Monday to express his disappointment at the England Cricket Board’s decision to cancel the men’s and women’s cricket tours. Ramiz Raja said England let down a member of their cricket fraternity when they needed it most. “Disappointed with England, who withdrew from their engagement and the failure of a member of their cricket fraternity when they needed it most. Will survive, we inchallah,” Ramiz Raja tweeted.

The PCB chief further said it was a wake-up call for the Pakistani team to become world beaters for other teams to line up to play against them without looking for excuses.

“A wake-up call for Team Pak to become the best team in the world for teams to line up to play them without excuse,” he said.
