His daughter Molly Matheson, 22, was found beaten and strangled on her bathroom floor on April 10, 2017 by her mother, Tracy.

Just four days later, 36-year-old Megan Getrum was murdered in the same violent manner.

Police were able to track down serial rapist and murderer Kimbro using forensic TUSEN.

During a 2022 hearing for the crimes, which NBC will reiterate in a special Dateline Friday night, Molly’s father, David Matheson, spoke directly with the man who killed his daughter.

“I honestly have nothing to say to you. You don’t exist,” he told Kimbro in court.

“You don’t take up space in my head, and you never will.

“You are the definition of a coward. You are the biggest coward I have ever seen.

“My wife, my family, Megan’s family and all these girls are stronger and stronger than you will ever be.”

The heartbroken father went on to say: “Each of these girls is going to do incredible things with their lives. Not you.

“After today’s hearing, they will take you wherever they take you, and no one will hear from you again.

“And again, as you’ve heard before, it’s easy to get off.”

While David thanked prosecutors in court at the end of his statement, he questioned the justice system in a recent interview with TUSEN 4 Dallas-Fort Worth.

“Why could this man kill Molly?” he said.

“Why could he kill Megan? Shouldn’t have happened.’

Molly reportedly dated Kimbro for a short time while she was a student at the University of Arkansas.

Molly’s mother said she met Kimbro once when he came to their childhood home.

The two were not in a relationship at the time of her murder.

Initially, Kimbro admitted to visiting her apartment the night she was murdered, but denied any involvement in her death.

Getrum had never met Kimbro at the time of her murder.

The Plano, Texas resident was hiking in Arbor Hills Nature Preserve when she disappeared.

Her body was discovered in Lake Ray Hubbard just days later, and TUSEN evidence and witnesses, who had placed Kimbro on the scene before Getrum went missing, linked him to her murder.

Police also found that Kimbro raped four women between 2012 and 2014, with several alleging that he strangled them in the process.

TUSEN evidence linked Kimbro to three of the sexual assaults that took place in Plano in 2012, South Padre in 2014 and Allen in 2015.

While the investigation into the Matheson and Getrum murders was underway, another rape victim from McKinney, Texas emerged.

Kimbro admitted to raping and murdering Molly and Getrum and to raping four other women as part of a plea deal to avoid the death penalty.

He was given a life sentence with no chance of parole.

“There was an IOU for all the cases,” said Tracy Matheson.

“It was very important that everyone was included.”

Prosecutors had strong words for Kimbro after accepting his guilty plea.

“Reginald Kimbro is a serial rapist and a serial killer. He used his personality and charm to attract women or stun them when that didn’t work,” said Tarrant County prosecutor Allenna Bangs.
