Gasoline and Diesel Rates Today in Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, Hyderabad: Gasoline and diesel prices were hiked by oil marketing companies today after a two-day hiatus. Gasoline in the national capital now costs Rs 107.94 per liter, increased by 35 paise since yesterday. Meanwhile, diesel in the capital retailed at Rs 96.67 per liter, up 35 paise. Gasoline and diesel prices have risen 19-fold so far in October. Bharat Oil Company Ltd (BPCL), Indian oil company Ltd (IOCL) and Hindustan Oil Company Ltd (HPCL) reviews fuel prices on a daily basis based on international benchmarks and exchange rates.

The cost of gasoline in Mumbai is still the highest of any metropolitan city, amounting to Rs 113.80 per liter. Diesel in the country’s finance capital costs Rs 104.75 per liter. The price discrepancy between Delhi and Mumbai is due to various local VAT taxes in different cities. Gasoline and diesel prices are set on the basis of transport costs, local taxes and VAT. Gasoline has crossed the 100 rupees per liter mark in Delhi, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Jammu and Kashmir, Odisha, Tamil Nadu , in Ladakh and in some towns of Bihar and Punjab.

-Bengaluru: Gasoline price – Rs 111.70 per liter; Diesel price – Rs 102.60 per liter

-Hyderabad: Gasoline price – Rs 112.27 per liter; Diesel price – Rs 105.46 per liter

-Noida (UP): Gasoline price – 105.10 per liter; Diesel price – Rs 97.32 per liter

-Mohali (Punjab): Gasoline price – Rs 110.00 per liter; Diesel price – 99.82 per liter

-Chandigarh: Gasoline price Rs 103.88 per liter; Diesel price – Rs 96.38 per liter

-Gurugram (Haryana): Gasoline prices – Rs 105.51 per liter; Diesel price – Rs 97.42 per liter

Crude Oil Price

Crude oil prices fell again on Wednesday morning after data showed an increase in crude oil inventories in the United States. Crude prices have recently recovered due to strong demand. According to Reuters, Brent crude futures were trading at $ 86.15 a barrel. US West Texas Intermediate futures were at $ 84.39 per barrel.
