IPL 2021: the duo Virat Kohli, Royal Challengers of Bangalore and Mohammed Siraj reach Dubai

Indian captain Virat Kohli and pacer Mohammed Siraj have joined the Royal Challengers Bangalore in Dubai ahead of the resumption of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021, the franchise announced on Sunday. “The news you’ve all been waiting for: King Kohli and Miyan Magic have joined the team in Dubai,” RCB captioned the photos on Twitter. Other franchises, including Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals have already announced the arrival of their stars in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for the next T20 league.

Virat Kohli and Siraj were in Manchester for the fifth test match against England which was canceled on Friday following the Covid epidemic in the Indian squad contingent.

RCB was third on the points table behind Delhi Capitals and Chennai Super Kings before the 2021 IPL was postponed after several franchises reported positive cases of Covid inside the bio-secure bubble.

RCB will start their tournament leg in the United Arab Emirates against the Kolkata Knight Riders at Abu Dhabi’s Sheikh Zayed Stadium on September 20.
