John Abraham trolled for ‘wish I was available for Rs 299’ remark, netizens say ‘too much ego’

John Abraham, whose last release Attack turned out to be a huge box office flop, recently said in an interview that he only wanted to be seen on the big screen and that the Dhoom actor “wouldn’t like be available for Rs 299 or 499” on OTT platforms. Now he is being brutally trolled for his statement by netizens.

Speaking to ETimes, John said: “I’m a hero of the big screen and that’s where I want to be seen. At this point I will be making films that are meant for the big screen. I would find it offensive if someone turned off my filming halfway on a tablet because they had to rush to the washroom. Also i wouldn’t like to be available for ₹299 or ₹499.I have a problem with that.

Reacting to his statement, several netizens criticized the actor reminding him of his recent flops such as Attack and Satyameva Jayate 2. One Twitter user wrote, “Too much ego for someone who makes movies like Satyamev Jayate 2 We know your standards very well after watching Housefull 2 Mr. John.”
