After learning nothing from Dr. Oz, House Minority leader Kevin McCarthy went to the grocery store to set the GOP agenda for America.
The American people cannot afford another two years of Democratic control.

McCarthy spends 15 seconds talking about how Americans struggle to make it while standing in a supermarket. The video then transitions into images of violent crime and the border. McCarthy then made it sound like America is hell by talking about drugs, inflation, and kids being left behind by school closures that don’t actually happen.
The House Minority Leader also falsely claimed that America is in a recession.
Republicans must have a great plan to deal with all these problems, right?
Kevin McCarthy never mentions a single Republican solution.
In fact, McCarthy’s solution is to put Republicans in control of the House.
Videos of Republicans in supermarkets never go well. McCarthy, like Dr. Oz to him, just looks weird and out of place trying to imitate a normal human being.
Part of the problem is that Kevin McCarthy’s insecurity radiates. It’s not credible that he cares about people, and the fact that he spends most of the video not talking about the wallet issues that matter most to people makes that point home.
It would take an epic mistake for Kevin McCarthy and the House Republicans not to win the majority, but McCarthy has already stopped the red wave, and terrible videos like this can only help Democrats.
