Event organizers revealed on Wednesday that the Laver Cup will be played in Vancouver and Berlin in 2023 and 2024, respectively. The Laver Cup will take place at Rogers Arena in Vancouver from September 22-24, 2023 and Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin from September 20-22, 2024.

“Our dream for the Laver Cup was to bring together the best players in the world – rivals all year round – as teammates, to honor the great legends of the past and bring spectacular and competitive tennis to new destinations,” said the President of the Laver Cup and CEO of Team8. Tony Godsick said in a press release.

“With the fifth Laver Cup taking place in London in September and today’s announcement, we are well on our way to realizing our vision for what is now a hugely popular event on the tennis calendar.”

The Laver Cup, which will take place September 23-25 ​​in London at the O2 this year, was first played in 2017. Vancouver’s Rogers Arena is home to the NHL’s Vancouver Canucks, and the Mercedes-Benz Arena Berlin has hosted various top entertainment events including NBA and NHL games.

“Having Vancouver and Berlin as host cities for the next two years for the Laver Cup, I think is going to be exciting,” said Roger Federer. “Vancouver, being on the west coast, [the people] be big sports fans [is great].
