Starting May 5, Lure Fishbar at Loews Miami Beach Hotel will finally reopen after closing more than a year ago due to the global pandemic. Fortunately, for seafood lovers of New York’s transplant by restaurateurs John McDonald and Joshua Pickard, as well as celebrity chef Josh Capon, there is still the same passion and quality behind the elegant Fruit Brasserie. de mer and the cocktail bar located in the heart of Miami Beach.
Overseen by Executive Chef James Kelly and Executive Sushi Chef Khaleel Ali, the seven-year-old restaurant is a treasure trove of fresh fish dishes with a lively bar scene and atmosphere reminiscent of a luxury cruise liner. Between constant freshness and catch of the day and nautical chic motif, Lure has forged a reputation when it comes to finding incredible seafood in the magical city.
To celebrate Lure Fishbar’s return, guests are invited to indulge in the Long live the sea promotion of the shellfish tower, available until June 30, 2021.
Long live the sea is priced at $ 199 and includes a bottle of Veuve Clicquot champagne paired with Lure Fishbar’s Plateau Royale shellfish tower. The decadent seafood tower features Alaskan king crab, seafood salad, tuna tartare, half a pound of lobster, eight oysters, six shrimp, six clams, and six crab claws. That’s quite the deal, considering the menu’s beloved shellfish tower typically costs $ 175 on its own.
After a whirlwind year in our industry, we are happy to welcome back familiar and new faces to Lure Fishbar and do what we do best. There’s no better way to start our return to the beach than with a tower of fresh and delicious seafood, a bottle of champagne and great company to share it with, ”says Ali, the sushi chef.
In addition to the special seafood platter, there are a few eye-catching new menu items to sample. “Lure Fishbar is back and we’re thrilled to offer customers the dining experience they’ve grown to love, while continuing to enhance our offerings with additions like elegant caviar service and bold new flavors like the lobster fra diavolo, the squid ink tagliatelle and Chef Khaleel’s amazing hamachi ponzu crispy rice, ”said Executive Chef Kelly.
Diners can always feast on favorite dishes like grilled sea bream, as well as the Lure “Bash Style” burger, a five-fold New York and South Beach Food and Wine Festival Burger Bash winner – known personal favorite of actress / model Chrissy Tiegen. Don’t forget the restaurant’s sushi bar. It’s home to 15 types of sashimi and features several signature rolls, including the Hellfire made with spicy tuna, seared tuna, cucumber, avocado, and kimchi sauce; or the king crab kanisu made with a cucumber wrap, king crab, daikon, avocado and tobiko.
Lure Fishbar features world-class seafood, modern cocktails and unparalleled service in an upscale oceanfront setting, located in the historic St. Moritz Tower at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel.
The restaurant will be open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday at 6 p.m. Valet parking and municipal parking are available. For reservations, customers can call (305) 695-4550 or visit the Lure Fishbar Resy page.
