The victims, a 62-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman, were conscious when taken to hospital.
“The attack is said to have arisen from an earlier argument between the two men who know each other,” police said on Friday.
“The 58-year-old man was arrested on charges of willfully causing serious injury by dangerous means and on suspicion of drug-related offences.”
In a video titled “Cut Incident at Blk 510A Yishun”, posted on the Singapore Incidents Facebook page, at least four police cars and an ambulance are parked at the foot of a Housing Board block.
