QUINCY (TUSEN) – The muffins sold at Stop & Shop are among those being recalled for possible listeria contamination. Give and Go Prepared Foods bakery products have been sold at a number of retailers nationwide, including Walmart and 7-Eleven.
Twenty-six muffin products in total are affected. The Stop & Shop website says the Blueberry Corn Mini Muffins are among those being recalled.

Recalled muffins look best when used by late August or early September date. Click here for a complete list of the recalled products.

So far, no cases of illness have been reported. Listeria can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, the elderly, and people with weakened immune systems. Symptoms include fever, headache, nausea, and abdominal pain.
