Paris Hilton shocked fans on Tuesday when she revealed she secretly welcomed a child, a baby boy, with husband Carter Reum via surrogate.
The socialite, 41, made the announcement via Instagram, with a photo of the new mom clinging to her baby’s hand.
“You’ve been loved beyond words,” Hilton wrote, followed by a blue heart emoji.

She made the announcement via Instagram, with a photo of the new mom holding on to her baby’s hand
“It’s always been my dream to be a mom and I’m so glad that Carter and I found each other,” Hilton said in a statement to PEOPLE.
“We are so excited to start our family together and our hearts are exploding with love for our baby boy.”
She did not provide further details about the birth.
Although this is Hilton’s first child, 40-year-old Reum already shares a 10-year-old daughter with reality star Laura Bellizzi, whom he has reportedly seen “only once.”
Last month, the Simple Life star shared that she and her husband began their journey with in vitro fertilization (IVF) in 2020 before he ever proposed.
Her dream: “It’s always been my dream to be a mom and I’m so glad Carter and I found each other,” Hilton said in a statement to PEOPLE
She told PEOPLE that they had “all the eggs stocked and ready.”
The couple married in November 2021 at Hilton’s grandfather Barron Hilton’s Bel-Air estate.

She also said she would “maybe want a boy first” as she always dreamed of having an older brother to “protect” her.
