Realme XT gets Realme UI 2.0 update based on Android 11


Realme XT gets stable version of Realme UI 2.0 update based on Android 11 in India. The update comes with UI version RMX1921EX_11.F.03 and brings a bunch of new features such as UI customization, three dark mode styles, Tone Tunes, an improved camera, and a optimized night load, among others. The latest update also optimizes system performance and stability. The update is being rolled out gradually.

Realme UI 2.0 Update for Realme XT: Change Log

The update to Realme XT was announced via a community blog post. According to the changelog, Realme UI 2.0 will allow users to create their own wallpapers by choosing colors from photos. It offers three dark fashion styles: enhanced, medium, and soft. The update supports third-party app icons on the home screen. The new update lets you drag text, images or files from one app to another in split-screen mode or out of floating windows.

Realme UI 2.0 offers optimized night charging. An AI algorithm is used to control the charging speed at night, in order to extend the battery life of the smartphone.

The Tone Tunes feature will link consecutive notification tones to form a single melody. With the latest update, Realme XT users can now share their hotspot with others via QR code. App lock and low battery messages have also been added among other features.

Realme UI 2.0 has weather animations and an optimized auto-brightness feature. Vibration effects for text input and gameplay have also been optimized. With the latest update, Realme XT users can delete or combine two folders. Realme UI 2.0 provides a drawer mode that allows you to filter applications by frequency of use, installation time or letters. A new Allow only once option has been introduced for sensitive permissions to better protect user privacy.

The Realme UI 2.0 update also brings changes to SOS functions. It allows Realme XT users to quickly display personal emergency information to first responders.

Photos and videos taken by the user will now have a shortcut for instant sharing. An inertial zoom feature has also been added to the camera app. There is also a cloud sync feature for photos. Level and grid options are now available in the Camera app. In addition, there is a sleep capsule which will help the user to plan downtime and secure sleep time.

If you are a Realme XT user, you can check for the update by going to Settings> Software Update. Realme says this is a phased rollout and is randomly sent to a limited number of users to ensure stability. It will have a larger rollout in a few days after the company has made sure there are no critical bugs.
