Rosie Williams has revealed the results of her secret hair transplant after undergoing the procedure two years ago.

The Love Island star, 30, told fans she made the decision after she no longer “recognized herself” due to “chunks of hair” falling out.

She suffered from thinning hair and baldness due to “years of personal stress” which had a major impact on her mental health.

She explained: “Unfortunately, over the past two years, my overall hair health has continued to deteriorate. I can only put it down to the level of stress I went through for personal reasons.

“My hair has continued to thin and I have bald patches, the hairline has completely changed shape and I don’t even recognize myself anymore.”

“What upsets me the most is that every time I wash my hair I find myself sitting on the floor in tears with bits of wet hair in my hands that have come out of my scalp and I don’t do not know why.”

Rosie decided to visit renowned hair transplant surgeon and surgical director, Dr Matee Rajput, at his clinic in Manchester.

The process sees Rosie have her new hairline traced before embarking on the 22-month long journey.

The star is pictured having a cosmetic injected into her head during the procedure, where donor hair is extracted from an area and placed in the area where the hair is needed.

She explained:

“I spoke to friends and family, but it wasn’t until I had a consultation with Dr Matee at the KSL clinic and sought expert advice that I realized that a hair transplant was an option for me.”
