Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix took her second Commonwealth Games medal in Birmingham on Saturday night in the women’s 10m synchronized platform competition.
The 17-year-old secured first place on the podium with the win on the women’s individual 10m platform on Thursday and claimed silver alongside Eden Cheng in the synchronized event.
Spendolini-Sirieix is the daughter of First Dates star Fred Sirieix, who was also at the Aquatics Center in Sandwell earlier this week to witness her winning gold.
Sirieix said he is taking his daughter to New York next month in what may now be a celebration of her 18th birthday and the success of the Commonwealth Games.
Spendolini-Sirieix and Cheng tried their best to hold out, scoring 76.80 on their final dive with a two and a half back somersault and a one and a half twist pike.
Their total score was 298.86, trailing Australian Charli Petrov and Melissa Wu in first place with 306.
Robyn Birch and Emily Martin took bronze for England with a score of 287.88.
