A court in Delhi on Thursday detained mobster Lawrence Bishnoi for 10 days by the National Investigation Agency (NIA).

Bishnoi, who was in Bathinda Prison in connection with the murder of singer Sidhu Moosewala, was arrested by the NIA in connection with a case related to a conspiracy hatched by terror groups and criminal syndicates to commit violent acts and to commit sensational crimes. of the country.

Special Judge Shailendra Malik approved the leads after the agency filed an application saying his questioning was necessary to uncover the larger conspiracy.

At the hearing, the court asked the agency, “What is the locus of NIA in the Moosewala murder case?” The NIA, while seeking Bishnoi’s custody for 12 days, replied that the material came from Pakistan and people like Moosewala are being targeted.

Moosewala was shot dead by unknown assailants in Punjab’s Mansa district in May, a day after the state government curtailed its security cover.
