Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal on Thursday expressed gratitude to his friends and family for their support after his parents recovered from the coronavirus. On Thursday, Chahal posted a lovely photo with his family members on Instagram and wrote: “Thank you all for all your prayers and support. We are overwhelmed by the help we have received from our friends / family and all your messages. Parents are healthy and we urge everyone to stay safe. ” Chahal’s photo features his father KK Chahal, mother Sunita Devi and wife Dhanashree Verma.

Chahal’s parents contracted COVID-19 last month, Dhanashree revealed on social media. Chahal’s latest update was greeted warmly by his friends and followers on Instagram. Actor Aly Goni expressed his joy by sharing clasped hand emojis in the comments area.

Cricketer Mohit Sharma dropped red heart-shaped emojis under the post. Actor Saqib Saleem wrote: “Bhai” with a red heart emoji. Singers Zaeden and Rameet Sandhu also expressed their joy in the comments. The happy news garnered over 3 lakh likes on the social media platform.

Chahal was last seen in action on April 30 during the 26th Indian Premier League (IPL) game between the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and the Punjab Kings (PBKS). He picked a wicket in said game and gave 34 points in his four-overs quota.

However, Chahal could return to the field before the IPL resumes, when the Indian team travel to Sri Lanka for a streak of white balls. The three-game ODI and as many T20I series between India and Sri Lanka will take place from July 13 to 25.
